Bestbrook Mountain Farmstay

we rented a two bed cabin and it's pretty basic. there's no air condition in the bed rooms just one central one in the living room which can be quite hot during the summer months. It gets ok later into the night when it gets cold. it's lovely when you wake up in the morning as the cows or horses are grazing right outside the cabin.. lovely view! the horse ride trail was absolutely the best and great food was served at the in house restaurant. it's 30 minute drive to the nearest town if you need anything urgently so its pretty convenient. kids loved the animal feeding and milking of cow. we missed the boomerang class but went for the butter making class which was great!

We had been to Bestbrook Mountain Farmstay 20 years ago with our children and last week we extended our stay with our children and grandchildren - 16 of us in total... What a great experience then and again now. So many activities for every age and gender, Fishing, Animal Feeding and Milking Cows, Damper making and Billy Tea, swimming and the favourite for all was the Horse Riding. We were a little nervous with the horse riding for the children but the staff running the lessons were amazing and very patient with the little ones. Cabins were suitable for all of us, and all were airconditioned. The kitchens in the cabins were all well equipped with everything we needed to cook all meals for all - we did however have dinner in the restaurant one night and the meals were amazing - real country tucker, staff amazing and portion sizes HUGE.... If you are contemplating going, I would highly recommend. Thank you to all the Team @Bestbrook - more memories for us to cherish.

We decided to go camping here over the long weekend after seeing many positive reviews online. This place did not disappoint. It was in a great location, only about 1.5hrs from Brisbane, but felt much further away. The campsites were amazing and we really enjoyed the included activities (feed the animals, butter & damper making). Highly recommend! Best part was having a cow right outside our campsite - my son was absolutely beside himself seeing a cow that close.

Spent 2 nights here camping. Absolutely loved it. The check in process was nice and easy. Thought the price of firewood and kindling was fair- wood burns well and is quite dense. Plenty of access to amenities. Such a nice area, and the horses/cows/peacock roaming around in the evening added a lot of joy to the trip. Couldn't recommend this place enough for camping. Will absolutely be back. Thanks for having us!

We had the best time at Bestbrook farmstay My granddaughters had such a great time feeding animals, playing on the swings, riding horses, and milking the cows, even collecting some freshly laid eggs in the chicken pen! We also loved playing in and exploring the creek that meanders throughout the property and going on hikes around the property discovering a gnome cave and other surprises. The food was incredible and the staff make you feel like family going above and beyond over all facets of the farm. And the cabins were perfect for everything we needed after a big day on the farm!
